Day 1; Arrival in Arusha
On Day One, you’ll be warmly welcomed upon arrival and transferred to a Lodge, a peaceful retreat nestled at the foot of Mount Meru. Take the rest of the day to relax, recover from your journey, and prepare for the exciting safari ahead. Enjoy the lodge’s tranquil gardens, pool, and a delicious dinner as you settle into the rhythm of Tanzania.
Day 2; Arusha to Tarangire National Park
On Day Two, your safari begins with an early departure from Arusha, heading to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a captivating game drive through its vast landscapes, encountering large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and iconic baobab trees. As you explore the park’s rich ecosystem, you’ll witness the beauty and diversity of Tanzanian wildlife. After the game drive, you’ll continue to Karatu, where you’ll spend the night at a Lodge. Day 3; Tarangire to Northen Serengeti National Park
after an early breakfast at Lodge/camp you’ll begin your scenic drive to the Northern Serengeti. This full-day journey takes you through the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem, offering game viewing opportunities along the way. Pass through varied landscapes—rolling plains, acacia-dotted savannahs, and river valleys—as you make your way north. Arrive at Kontiki Camps in the late afternoon, where you’ll settle into your comfortable tented accommodation and enjoy dinner surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.
Day 4; Northern Serengeti National Park
spend a full day exploring the stunning landscapes of the Northern Serengeti, an area famed for its dramatic Mara River crossings, especially during the migration season. Day 5; Ngorongoro Crater and Back to Arusha
Start early with a scenic drive from the Northern Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive through one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich environments, home to rhinos, lions, elephants, and more. After a picnic lunch, you’ll have the optional opportunity to visit a Maasai village, where you can learn about their unique culture and way of life.
