Day 1 Zanzibar Island
Welcome to the start of your safari and welcome to Tanzania! You’ve chosen a fantastic place for your safari journey and we’ll get you started with an introductory briefing before we head out to begin the trip you’ve been dreaming of. Chill out on beautiful beaches and visit quaint old Stone Town on Zanzibar Island.
Zanzibar Stone Town
Smell the spices, admire the architecture, and let yourself be carried away by the Muslim call to prayer as you explore Zanzibar Stone Town.
Accommodation Amaan Beach Bungalows
Right by the ocean in Nungwi on Zanzibar Island, Amaan Beach Bungalows are a popular place to stay. The location is fantastic (it’s impossible to be closer to the beach and still on dry land). Facilities are good, from the large rooms with wooden beds, mosquito nets and tiled floors to the swimming pool, bar and restaurant. Enjoy a drink in the bar with a sea breeze and great views.

The island is famed for its giant tortoises, the scenery is gorgeous, and weather permitting the outing will be capped by a seafood beach barbecue.

• Visit prison island, Zanzibar Island Late afternoon Get a whole new perspective on Zanzibar Island when you come with us for an excursion by boat. There’s so much you’ll see that you can’t experience any other way.

• We will take you to the airport this evening.
